There's a delicious secret at the Singing Bamboo, a West Palm Beach Chinese restaurant that's been a treasured landmark for two decades. It's a by-request-only "Special Chinese Menu" of many authentic favorites found in big-city Chinatowns -- delicate soups, noodles with a bite, and beef, pork, poultry and seafood dishes with sweet/spicy, intensely flavored sauces.

Owner Dominic Wong calls his cuisine "Hong Kong-style," with a focus on seafood and Dim Sum, (delectable morsels of Pork Buns, Shrimp Dumplings and other delicacies). Select your Lobster or Flounder from a tank and the kitchen will transform it with the right touch of spices and herbs into an incredible entree. If you love Lo Mein, try the Longevity Noodle, which raises it to a higher level, and one bite of Chinese Broccoli with Garlic will make you an avid vegetable fan! Of course, you can't go wrong with any of the classic Chinese-American comfort foods. Sweet and Sour Chicken, glazed Spareribs, crunchy Egg Rolls and Wonton Soup are all luscious and satisfying. Look for the little red peppers on the menu if you like some extra heat. The Healthy Heart dishes are packed with fresh steamed ingredients.
