AWESOME! FANTASTIC! EXTRAORDINARY! All these words and more can be used to describe the quality of the food and the level of service and friendliness at Papa Giuseppe’s. Thanks to SFD, we found another hidden treasure. This charming Italian restaurant is located in a strip mall off Linton in Delray Beach and is hard to find, but great directions from the staff got us right to their door and it was well worth the trip. There were three of us to try a variety of choices and we were very pleased with all of them. We started out with soup and salad…Pasta Fagioli was perfect with lots of beans and pasta in a thick flavorful broth, Chicken Noodle was their ‘soup of the day’ and it was also delicious and their house salad was large and fresh with tomatoes, black olives and a very tasty house dressing. Add in Garlic Rolls that were freshly baked and scrumptious and what a start to your meal! Our Entrees were: Eggplant Rollatini, Veal Francese and Veal Siciliano. The Veal Siciliano was lightly breaded veal with eggplant covered with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese and it was prepared to perfection…tender, flavorful and a very generous portion. The Veal Francese was also tender and flavorful and perfectly prepared. The Eggplant Rollatini is one of their House Specialties and it was thinly sliced eggplant lightly breaded and rolled, loaded with ricotta cheese and covered in a delicate tomato sauce and melted cheese. We needed TOGO boxes to leave room for dessert. We had tiramisu and cheesecake…our favorite being the tiramisu…probably the BEST we have experienced to date! They had homemade biscotti available for take out on the counter that was calling my name, so I bought a container to take home and again, it was WONDERFUL! They pride themselves on making everything homemade. All in all, this was an amazing find for us and we are looking forward to a return trip to try their pizza and other dishes that looked very good as they came out of the kitchen! The staff is extremely friendly, hard working and very attentive and this is an Italian restaurant that definitely has it all together!
